This is a long overdue post.

Anyway... I still want to show you some of my favorites from my trip to Pulau Pangkor November last year.

We stayed at Nipah Guesthouse for 3D2N in Pulau Pangkor. It is a super nice place and we stayed in Cottage 4 which was pretty awesome and cute! We also went to Daddy's Cafe for a so-called romantic dinner while listening to the waves - it was so amazing and so relaxing.

Being such a boring couple, we opted to just walk around and we also rented out a scooter to explore the island on the second day. It was pretty wonderful and I enjoyed our scooter ride around the island especially when we spotted the hornbills! Haha. I don't know why but I was so excited when I spotted them...

Anyway, our trip summary is as per below:
- We went to Pulau Pangkor on November 2015 and we stayed at Nipah Guesthouse for 3D2N - it costs us RM 120 per night.

- We took a bus from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan Kuala Lumpur (TBS) to Lumut Jetty. We were charged RM 54.20/person for a return ticket. It was fun but a 5-hours journey was quite tiring. I'm glad that we chose Arwana Express because the bus was quite new, clean, comfortable, and smooth.

- The ferry service from Lumut Jetty to Pangkor Jetty takes about 40 minutes one way and the fare for return ticket is RM10 per person.

- What are the activities and places visited? As I mentioned earlier that we both are such a boring couple and we didn't do much. We just walked around, rented a scooter, chilling and relaxing at the beach, went to the Dutch Fort, take a few snaps of pictures, bought few kilos of Pangkor's famous dried anchovies those with the blue eyes and that's it. You can go snorkeling if you want and it's quite cheap, the price range is around RM30 - RM50 if I am not mistaken. Oh, MS feeds the hornbills too!

- The rental fees for the scooter is RM 60/day. We rented the scooter from Budget Beach Resort

- How was the food in Pangkor? I would say nothing special and those mixed rice choices are too unusual to my liking except for the dinner that I had at Daddy's Cafe. We ordered Twinkly Bomb (Grilled Lamb Chops) and Monkey Love (Pineapple Chicken Rice). The portions were huge and tasty. Definitely, the best RM65 dinner we’ve had at Pangkor.

- Our 3D2N trip cost is as per below:
What for?How much?
Return bus tickets for 2 KL-Lumut Jetty108.40
Return ferry tickers for 2 Lumut Jetty-Pangkor20.00
Accomodation at Nipah Guesthouse 3D2N240.00

Miscellaneous Expenditure100.00

I hope my post about Pulau Pangkor might give you some insights about what to expect, the activities and information about the island.

We both loved Nipah Guesthouse and would definitely stay there if we were to go to Pulau Pangkor next time.
